Idealist Consulting OEIB Rotary award interview

By: Kirsten Kippen

Rob Jordan, Idealist Consulting Founder and CEO, speaks to how Idealist Consulting acts as an ethical business, in an interview for our award nomination for Rotary Oregon Ethics in Business.

About the Oregon Ethics in Business Award

The Oregon Ethics in Business Award honors organizations and individuals who have demonstrated ethical business practice in its broadest interpretation: in the workplace, the marketplace, the environment, and the community. Awards are given in three categories: large business, small business, and nonprofit. The recipients of these awards will have, by act and example, gone beyond the expected to achieve excellence in ethical business practices.

A brief excerpt from Idealist Consulting’s submission for the award

“We treat our employees with the same respect and honesty as we do our clients. Trust is the glue that keeps our work family together. Celebrating our commitment to being humans first, we pay living wages, hire for diversity, encourage and support the importance of a healthy work-life balance. On a daily basis, we act according to strong company values and employees are empowered to lead projects and take initiative.”
